Hiring Out Your Horsebox

I know there used to be a company that you could register with to hire out your own horsebox but I think this has now closed down?

Does anyone know of any other companies that do this?

I want to look into hiring mine out again as it needs to be used more!

I know that the user China did it with hers and had a nightmare of a time when they drove it in to something, it was off the road for repairs for ages and the insurance was really complicated.

You are right, there was someone who had a good idea for horsebox owners to hire out their box, through her company.
I guess it foundered on paperwork, insurance and problems. Not seen anything lately.

If you look at the hire contract for a horsebox there are pages and pages of conditions to comply with and a hefty deposit, to cover every eventuality.

Having previously owned a horsebox hire company until Jan this year, I can safely say it is a lot of hassle and self drive hire insurance is extremely expensive as you are not allowed to receive payment on your own normal insurance.
