Hit and run.(not horses)

I know this shouldnt be on here but I just thought the people on here are the ones to ask. On 23rd December at 10 15am I was driving along the A46 in south glos when a black 4x4 pulled out and knocked me off the road and into a tree I escaped with minor injuries but the 4x4 didnt stop.There will be red paint and some damage to his front bumper,if anyone is out riding and see`s this vehicle could they make a note of the reg and inform police.It may be parked up in a village somewhere.Or in a driveway.

Just past the roman camp garage in Old Sodbury,it was coming out of the Horton turning.Yes Im fine thankyou but was very shaken up at the time.It was a newish 4x4 so the damage will really show up.
