i had no lessons this afternoon so got down the field with enough time and light to go out for a hack so i tacked buster up and went down the same track we always have to go down to get onto the heath. theres a nice bit at the end of this track were we can have a good canter. so of we went in canter managed to get into a nice forward seat out of the saddle and was having a great canter. then i noticed some1 had been clearing leaves out of the ditch and leaving piles at the side of the path. i sat back up for the first pile as he is normally spooky but he went past like there was nothing there so went back 2 forward seat. then we got to the last pile which was apparently much scarier than the others and he did a horrid little stop and go thing which unseated me a bit then he sore a wheel barrow full of leaves (it was very scary apparently!
) and with me not quite in the plate he was quicker to turn around and run away than i was!
i have only fallen of him a couple of times and never on a hack, i tried to hang onto the reins but had a bit of a butter fingers moment! i shot up to see him cantering of! after a couple of strides he semed to realise that i had not been so quick to run from the horse eating wheel barrow and he stooped a turned round to look at me (practically poking his tounge at me
) i did my best to walk up to him with my best 'im really angry with you' face but i didnt work and i kept laughing!!!
all in all quite an uneventful ride for our standards!
