Pictures.... have you got an account with photobucket.com??
confused.gif
If not, you need one!
grin.gif
Just load all of your pictures up on that website. Then you can on here....

If you put the mouse on your photo, a box will appear below it. At the bottom of the list it says 'IMG Code', next to that title, there's a box with a code in it. You need to copy that code by highlighting and right clicking to copy it. Come on here, and click paste, and your code will appear between

Not a problem, happy to help! It drove me nuts lol! Someone had to help me through it too lol!

By the way, I created my signature on photo bucket too, then copied the code into the signature area of my profile!

smile.gif

smile.gif

smile.gif

The bay is my old faithful! He's called Sammi, 15.3hh Irish Sports horse, 16 years old, I've had him since he was 3. He is a jumping machine! Absolutely adores xc, always gives a clear round, and a fast time! Show jumping can be abit hit and miss with us! The bigger he jumps the better! I only do unaffilated SJ, and just go straight into open! Intermediate fences are too small for him and he just takes the peeee!
crazy.gif
Flattens and gallops! Open backs him off abit giving me chance to actually ride a course and not be just the mere passenger lol!
wink.gif

The coloured is called Rox and he is my new project to eventually replace Sammi! Decided to quieten Sam down gradually as Rox is beginning work, by the time Rox is old enough to compete, I will retire Sam off! I bought Rox out of the field as a 10 month unhandled colt in January. His mum was a french ex race horse, and his dad a middle weight coloured cob. He stood at 13.3hh in January, and now is standing at 14.3hh! He should make around 16.1hh ish according to the vets opinion! He's earning his keep doing inhand coloured showing, it's a learning curve for us both
wink.gif

What about you and Harley, great name by the way!! Do you do any competing? What sort? Any ambitions with him??

The signature thing.... have a play about in your photo bucket, edit your pictures with the edit options, I re-sized mine to make it fit in a long rectangle shape.
smirk.gif

THEN... go on here in your user options, scroll down to the main configuration box and go in the personal info section. Scroll down to the signature box, copy and paste your image code in there, press submit, and Bob's your uncle!! Simples xx

aww bless, they both look gorgeous. it must be so lovely to own a horse for as long as youve owned sammi, you must be very proud of him, he sounds like a great horse.

aww how long did it take you to get rox used to being handled etc?? hes gonna be a big lad then lol. bet he loves all the attention. so the old owners didnt want to do anything with him??

aww thankyou hun
smile.gif
i bought harley when he was 6months old from a welsh auction, got him for a very good price (bargain) he was such a sweet foal, he would follow me anywhere, hes good to load and travel etc, hes now 18months old and getting abit full of himself lol, still a sweetie tho but its mad how quick they grow up. hes gone well big. going to get him gelded soon, wish i could keep him as a stallion but ive got a back problem and id be worried incase he gets to much for me. when im trying to get him to trot up he just goes lazy lol, would like to take him to shows but feel like i need abit of help with getting him to stand up n trot etc, because ive never had a youngster before and never done inhand showing. just want him to be an allrounder, i would like to do abit of dressage with him when hes older. its nice seeing him get used to things, i love watching him grow up and gain confidence, its going to be a wonderful journey and im writing it all down, and ive took loads of pics so that in years to come i can look in the folder and see how much my boys changed
smile.gif

ok thankyou hun ill have a look later
smile.gif

xx

Well I see you figured out how to do the signature thing! Very nice by the way!!
grin.gif

Yeah I love Sam to bits, although he does have his moments still! Enjoys to test his mum ocassionally and see how far he can push me lol!
wink.gif
He's my boy for life, trust him 110%!
grin.gif

It didn't take that long with Rox, gradually built up his trust. I use to itch his shoulder and neck whilst he was eating, and venture abit further with him everyday, gradually stroking in his face and tugging his head collar. It took me about two weeks of owning him and I had taught him to lead... well after him somersaulting over 3 times because he reared too big!
crazy.gif
but after that he got the jist and we started bonding.
cool.gif

Showing is really simple when you get into it. I only did it to get Rox out and about, and use to show life for when I want to jump him. I thought showing was dull and boring, thought I would hate it as I love the thrills and spills of jumping.... BUT I was wrong! I am really starting to get into showing... I'm hooked! I'm an addict!! I would definitiely recommend it!
grin.gif

Obviously I do coloured inhand, so the basics are similar, BUT what they look for in a coloured is different to a welsh class. I knew someone who use to show welshs, and they should carry plenty of weight for showing quality, and appear in natural state with flowing manes and tails! Apart from that, I don't know much more about welsh showing... you ought to do a post on it

This is me and Rox doing our thing....
