Hiya, my new Inuit Puppy!

Aww, he was gorgeous! Was his ear always floppy?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeh, from birth. It gave him character, but he was very bashful about it!

Oh bless!

Hiya got some more up to date pictures of him! Also, anyone who uses a cage, probably sounds like a silly questions for the pro's, but do I put his water in there with him, as in the smaller one (to try to stop him messing) there isnt a lot of room for his bowl. He went in it to sleep earlier without prompting, hope thats a good sign!

Hehe! Oh they will certainly guard, they'll bark like mad at anyone at the gate but they're not ferocious(spl?) like a GSD (not saying they all are but mine would bite any stranger!).

I started Skye off in a cage from 6 - 14/15 weeks, (a pretty big one, big enough for a 29" GSD), always put newspaper all the way through, bed at the end and water bowl in far corner as knowing a pup it will get knocked over (unless you have one of these unknockable water bowls that OH has just invented). The pup must have access to water at all times. He should take to the cage as its more of a secure feeling for him.

ETS: P.s Who is by?

Post a pup up to Yorkshire would you?

Well, we had progress... Someone suggested a ticking clock wrapped up in a towel for the howling, but I has something better, I'd bought a toy for my son when he was a baby which emmitted a heartbeat noise, so I got the box out of it, wrapped that up and put it just outside his cage, and he was a lot more calmer. He went until 2 am without messing in his cage, then my dh went and slept on the sofa cos he has a really bad cold and couldn't sleep and let him sleep on the sofa with him, but Dante went without toilet for the rest of the night...just shows he can do it.
