Hiya! I've ridden for about 15 years and after having some time off whilst I had babies l, have recently started to ride regularly again, mainly hacking out on our family Andalusian mare. She's a real sweetheart but 2 weeks ago, we had a freak accident where she was a bit bolshy and tried to get past me on our narrow path, accidentally knocked me over, tried to get out of my way but stood on my leg and clipped my other foot in the process ??‍♀️ going through a bit of an over-thinking phase now and being a bit of a wimp! I'm sure ? it'll pass when I manage to get back up the yard (I've not been able to walk/drive properly for 2 weeks so haven't been up apart from to see her over the fence), don't know why I'm such a chicken! Anyway, hopefully onwards and upwards again for us now ?

Hi, welcome - don't worry we all have 'wobble moments' around horses. i certainly have!
Thanks, just hoping that I'm not going to ruin myself with my overthinking mind. I took on a loan in the summer for 3 months but he had his issues and I had a lot on my plate and I just couldn't get past it. Our mare has been amazing, bar her sometimes impatience, and I don't want to lose my hobby, I love her!

Be brave for her, my experience of a PRE is that you will worry her more by being worried yourself. I'm sure you'll get back on an even keel soon. Welcome to the forum.
