I've found out my hunters are no longer water/mudproof and need a cheap replacement. Are the HKM Kodiak waterproof all the way up to the top? I've seen them for sale on eBay and one seller says they are, another said they're only waterproof to the ankle which is no good to me.

Any other cheapie recs that look like these if indeed they aren't waterproof?

I haven't got a pair myself but am looking to get them. Found this on one website:

'The HKM Kodiak long yard mucker style boots are a lovely warm winter boot that comes with quick fastening tabs and a warm fur lining.
The Kodiak winter boots have a reinforced patch on the inside of the leg to prevent rubbing whilst riding.
The sole is made of a durable material with a water resistant fabric upper. Boots have reflective tabs as shown in the picture

Calf is highly adjustable and will fit most legs'

I don't know either!

Had a pair last winter warmest boots I have ever had and super comfy but no they are not waterproof all the way up and they only lasted me the winter so I wont be buying another pair shame really as they were very warm :(

Both myself and my daughter bought a pair last winter. They are only waterproof up to the ankle and that was only until they split! Boths pairs were split and leaking within a couple of months with normal wear! I wouldn't buy them again.
