HM Dressage saddles - knee blocks on top or underneath flap?

I've a Heather Moffett VSD but looking at a dressage flexee finale - you can get the pro version with velcro on top for the blocks or just use the blocks underneath. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of these saddles and the blocks? Whether better to have them underneath the flap or on top?

Utterly down to personal choice, I fit a completely different brand but everyone has different preferences. A flap mounted block has a very definite feeling, if your leg shifts then it can be uncomfortable. A block under a knee pad is much more forgiving and personally I recommend them to my customers on the whole.

Personal choice I would worry about bits of hay and hair getting caught in the velcro on the outside and looking messy
