I had the jumping version (GPT?) - loved it, very comfy, horse loved it and went really well in it and did seem to put me in the right position. Did have a slippage incident going round a fast corner though - not sure whether it was me or the saddle being on a barrel of a welsh D.
Would definitely buy a dressage vogue when I need a dressage saddle, but for stability for jumping preferred my albion k2
I trialled one some years ago and really hated it. I was perched too high, it simply would not stay central and I just went home and cancelled the order! I did, however, buy the previous model, a Pheonix which I used for quite a few years, much more comfortable but could not jump more than 2 ft 6" in it!
They are marmite, I love them and had them for years, my friend hates them.
They are very comfortable and put you in a great position. I've never once felt like I might come off. They aren't ideal for jumping for than a couple of feet though.
If you are thinking of buying new I've not heard great things about the customer service but if you're thinking second hand they hold their value. Be aware they are measured pommel to cantle not diagonally
a friend of mine has nothing else but HM saddles. I ride for her sometimes, but I find the stirrup bars are in the wrong place and really hurt the inside of my thighs.
I tried the Vogue on two of my horses and they didn't like it. Neither did I so I was quite happy. They both really like the HM Flexee saddles though, as do I. Vogues do seem to be generally popular and hold their value well - I think I made a little profit on the one I bought to try!
