Hmm... how does this work?!

From all i've seen of this kind of thing...people who go for it are desperately looking for an answer, there doesn't even need to be a question...so when whichever mystic meg tells them "You horse is terrified of....blah blah blah....he has worries about...blah blah" and the owner just absorbs it as fact, relaxes and thinks they now have the best possible relationship with their horse...thus, worships the 'psychic', giving them positive feedback (and by this point the story has normally warped significantly to make it sound more dramatic!)...allowing more 'mystics' to step forward and more people to think "well...maybe it's true" and become 'open minded' (*cough* susceptible to suggestion! *cough*)

A friend actually bought me a 'reading' from that ebay seller.

I was doubtful, but she had one done for her dog and thought it was good.

So she paid I think £7 for 3 questions, something like that.

Anyway I decided to use Lance, considering I know just about all his history, quirks etc, well Im sorry, but not one thing was accurate!

She said that Lance loves going out for long rides just the two of us for hoursand hours..............he is a nappy bugger, much worse when alone!

She also said he was scared of water...this is the horse who loves the water jumps and will try and bathe in puddles!

there was more, basically nothing was true or accurate.

she did the reading from a photo, Im glad it wasnt my money.

But look, she actually offers healing from a distance!

I know a lot of people believe in this sort of thing, but surely they would want to get someone to do the healing in person, not from a photo and from miles away!

If people were willing to PAY YOU for looking at a photo and giving some 'realistic' sounding suggestions, wouldn't you do it?
I personally wouldn't but plenty would - and do
