Hmm we might be turning a corner!

Well ive posted on afew occassions about my experienced horse that takes a dislike to certain venues!

Take last week, on weds at Myerscough he was placed in first class then, just pushed out of line up in the other.

Aintree fri, and sat eliminated in all classes.

So took him for a training ses at Aintree yesterday with my instructor. Ready to do battle!

Went back to Aintree tonight, and won the 1.05m!!

Maybe is sunk in that the place isnt that scary!

Pointless post really just pleased to get him over his fear, just need to crack the other two venues he hates now!!

My cousins were both at Aintree on Friday and Saturday, they had a rubbish time too, Col even fell off (and I can't remember the last time that happened!)

To be honest,I had a horse who hated a particular venue and I just stopped taking her there and never had a problem since!
Still never go there though!!!!!!!

I had a 13.2hh like that, some places she just wouldn't jump at all. She really hated Southview so we only went twice (2nd time just to check) its an allowance we gave her, as she won pretty much everywhere else!

Are you sure it is a different venue that he does not like?

Maybe you are just jumping him too much. 3 times in one week seems a lot. He was perhaps either fed up or too stiff from jumping on the Wednesday.
