I am pretty sure that the complaint made by Virginia Barwell which was upheld would have related to her being shown to apparently state that she would not have her CKCS dogs scanned for syringomyelia. This was a total misrepresentation of what she actually said to the programme makers

It hardly surprises me that the Kennel Club went into it with their eyes open and got caught out mind you

Nor do I much, but I resent colleagues being given ultimatums by the people who spent decades ignoring their points of view and who are only acting (ineffectively) NOW because they were made to look bad by a TV show.

If that makes sense

The KC are and always will be interested in money from registration first and foremost. They are making a big deal about the Accredited Breeder Scheme, but it has very little bite. As an acccredited breeder I could breed from Buffy with her high hip score as the ABS conditions only state that stock must be scored, not that there is a maximum for breeding stock

And the GSD folk have been trying for decades to try and get improvements, mum was a member of the original GSD improvement group, must have been nearly 30 years ago and we are still waiting for the KC to act on recommendations!!
