Well its that time of year again to start leaving horses out 24/7 and bizarrely I can't decide whether to start this tonight.

She is wanting to come in around 5.30 but now there are a couple of horses being left out she might think differently. They are not immediately next to her but she can see them so she should be OK.

I figured I would just feed her in the field, change her rug, give her some hay and leave her to it. I was going to wait a couple more weeks for the weather to settle down but I cant really think of a reason to bring her in - unless she wont settle of course!

What do you think? Just do it?

I left my girl out last night. She is usually out 24/7 come late Feb but this year her field companion has been coming in due to weight loss. My pony stresses on her own so I have been bringing her in too. However last night I got down a bit late and she seemed very settled. There are a few more horses living out now in the oppsing fields so I fed her and put hay out and left her turned out. I went back and checked on her (I hid behing a mound so that she didnt see me lol) and she was very settled. Am hoping she continues to be content and if she is then she will stay out now until September time :)
