hmmmm what to do

As you may know, i currently have 2 tb's on loan. The 2nd of which is supposed to be a happy hacker for mum, but i *think* mum thinks the mare maybe a bit too much for her (i know she won't but although mum is a good rider she isn't confident). The thing is that if i were to get this cob for mum we wouldn't be able to loan the mare anymore. I feel so torn. Theres no option of me not having the ginger ninja as he is my little project and i will be buying him eventually.
What would you do?

Is this cob at your yard already? Also if your Mum isn't very confident would she feel safe on a horse that young, possibly not even backed yet.
