I had decided on a combination unit with two gas rings, grill, sink, tap and drainer.

The guy who came to quote me yesterday for building the units said I would be better with seperate hob and sink with glass tops. Been pricing them up and they are horrendously expensive and the just affordable small neat ones have no grill or drainers???

What do you think??

I've got my carpet to line the walls, flooring and blinds on order!! Watching a fridge on ebay, just need to make a decision on the bloomin hob now!

I have just done the living in my lorry and i got nearly all my things from ebay. I bought the hob, with grill, the sink and the tap. Also the curtains and seat covers.I dont have a huge living so didnt want a drainer or fridge but you can get all these things on ebay if you want.

deffo not the last one.. I have never seen anyone with minus feedback!!! lmao!

But I love the first one... that's lovely!

definatly try and go second hand, and look in camping magazines etc.

dads just done ours and we have kitchen units from homebase, have 4 base units and 3 wall units plus a larder which we use for boots/jackets and the fridge is going in the bottom when we get it! We also have a small sink and drainer unit and a 4 ring hob, grill, oven and pan draw combo. oh and dad made the seats/pull out bed and the table himself.

If you want functional but not necessarily smart was always recommended to buy an old caravan and rip contents out and use that as often cheaper BUT sounds like yours is going to be far nicer than the contents of an old caravan so don't think overly useful advice for you but still worth mentioning
