So far as I understand it, there is no longer a "pass/fail" situation. The vendor has to declare it, the price has to reflect it and the vet has to mention it on the report. the insurance company will then exclude any related illnesses (as much as they can!) but I don't think it's a "fail"

I would be more concerned about the original noise and loss of performance than the subsequent post operative horse!

I stand to be corrected but that's what I understand.

my horse passed but it is noted on the vetting and is uninsurable. hunt round for insurance quotes though as many exclude the whole respiratory system as a result but you cn find companies that will just exclude the operation itself
