Hock conformation question

I've been looking through various photos of horses for sale and wondered what you thought about this horses hock confirmation. It doesn't look quite right to me, I appreciate its not a brilliant photo but its not fair to criticise someone's horse publicly, so I hope by showing this cropped photo it might provide enough info whilst protecting the vendors privacy. So please respect this. Thanks.

Quite straight through the hock, also through fetlock and stifle. It wouldn't necessarily put me off though. Granny horse was very straight through her hind leg and she did many years as a serviceable low level riding horse.

I'm not happy how straight the hind leg is or about the right one turning out. Photos can be very deceptive, but I wouldn't drive a long way to view without seeing other photos or video.

I will try and sort it out, i leave my job on Friday so might close my Birker account if that helps. Its a pity as i wanted to look back on my private messages and posts though. Its just when I'm on my phone I'm registered as HB. That last reply was in my mobile sat in the waiting room waiting for my covid vac.

I had to set up a new account when i moved to this work contract as i didn't know what my logon details were as I'd not recorded them anywhere if that makes sense. It automatically logs me on my phone as HB and i never log out.

I think it has to be taken in context, I'd suspect postural issues, the post-legged look usually coming from opened angles in the upper leg too, you can see these horses have bodywork and ongoing postural work and those angles change. Without knowing how the quarters and back look you can't be sure you're looking at fixed confirmation.

A risk though!

I think you can ask admin to combine them, but going down to one will be brilliant, thanks

My mare has very straight hind legs. I wouldn't have bought her, she was a freeby. The one you have shown looks to me to have very little second thigh. Looks generally weak. This is mine. From behind she is well muscled, typical part quarter horse muscling.

Tbh I would not judge a horse from picture like that .
I just walk away from the ad , if they can’t get their act together to put up decent pictures god knows what else they are up to.
I am a very divisive advert shifter you have one chance to capture my attention .

It is worth considering what you want to do with the horse. There are plenty of highly successful horses with questionable conformation. In the current high priced market, real rubbish is fetching a lot of money.
