Someone tied their gelding up right outside my mare's stable (whilst she was in) and this is the result of the ensuing squabble..... (Sadly I wasn't there at the time to intervene.)
After Danilon and DMSO treatment, this is where we are now:

Not being terribly familiar with hock oddities, I am wondering what the elongated bulbous lump on the upper innerside of her hock is? Is this a thoroughpin of olden days? Or something else? And what are people experiences of hocks that look like this after a month post injury? Will there be improvement?
