My horse had tildren injections after he started throwing in the odd stop. I believe it was tildren anyway...
Vet said very normal at his age (15) and having led a busy life. All I had to do afterwards was 5 days walking, 5 days gentle schooling then could carry on as normal.
He events at novice level BE happily and vets were more than happy for him to continue. They said it was rare for a horse like him to be out there doing BE without a little 'help'.
He was never lame, just started throwing in a couple of stops which was very unlike him.
