Hog or Not

Hi everyone ,
I really want to hog my horse but scared just in case i dont like it , only had him about 8 weeks came from ireland as a maxi cob , but his only 3 years old some days he looks like a cob and others he dont .

WHAT WOULD YOU ALL DO . Thanks guys

Pictures would help, do you clip his feathers and what are you going to do with him. Personally I love a clipped and hogged cob on the hunting field, think they look so smart.

As a three year old he is still growing and maturing. It is likely if he was sold as a maxi cob that that is what he will look like when fully mature.

I totaly agree a nice turned out hoged cob looks so smart and it would be a lot easyer to mannage as they tend to have really thick manes

yeah sorry not very good with computers to get pictures , i did his legs yesterday and they do look great if i must say so, and i got him for showing , i emailed lynn russell and she said he could , i really want to go out to yard now and do it, thanks for all your advice .

just to let you all know i went out and hogged him, o my god he looks great and my first time hoggin not bad. thanks for your advice i was smileing as i was doing it, i was thinking crap as i was doin it ,
