Hogging with scissors.... B4 an after *pics*

Well i went up the yard today, and teddi had about 5inches of rather odd looking punk style mane.

And i just couldnt bare it anymore, so i Found 2 sharp pairs of scissors, in case 1 went blunt, and decided i may as well have a go. If it ends up looking "hacked" then oh well it'll grow back and it'll be lesson learnt.

Anyways heres the before....
N.b - the sea anemone looking forelock!!

So after about half an our 40 mins of scissoring, i did also get carried away, and trimmed his face and ears too lol:

I went out for a ride for 2 hours after doing it, and after leaving the yard i saw a couple of bits i'd missed, really drove me mad while riding, couldnt wait to get back an chop it off!!
Oh and all done by eye..... think i may have a new career as a hair dresser!!

Yeah i know... could've wasted £200 or so there!! When i needed to spend a big nothing!! really impressed with it, plus Teddi didnt mind being snipped at!!
Glad i did it though, he looked awful before!

This weekend... im going to Trim and pull the mane of the daughters pony!! Fed up of having scruffy ponies!

I got to do my mares mane before our show on sunday, they are quing up on our yard for their clips and trims lol all a load of scruffy beasts (hope nobody from yard reads this post they will kill me saying that lol)

Awww thanks - dont think ill ever get rid of him though, hes far too sweet, and good at jumping lol!!

My fingers did ache, and my arm. but they were the scissors where you can only fit one finger in the handle bit, so had to keep swapping em!
