hogging

what breeds can be hogged ? i like the look, could i do it to a warmblood ?or would he look even thicker? im sure ive seen picture of other sports breeds hogged. i guess i would really need to be sure though cause i cant stick it back.pictures would be good thanks
 
It looks best on a cob/cob type/heavy horses, I definitely wouldn't hog a warmblood though, it won't look "right"

anything with a decent neck/crest... definitely not on something ewenecked. leave it slightly longer to give the illusion of a crestier neck if necessary. Looks best on a cobbie type though.
 
Eeeek no please dont do it to a warmblood. It should be done on the cobs/heavier types only and if you hog you should also remove all the feathers as well.
 
darn it .forgot my gloves when decided to do a pulling to tidy up and cut my 2 best fingers didnot notice till i washed my hands ouch stings
