Holiday care in family home near Devizes?

Could anyone recommend a dog sitter near Devizes who takes dogs in to their own home. We are going away for 4 days in August and want our lurcher to stay in a home environment rather than in kennels. He can be boistrous/chase small dogs so either needs to be just him or another dog that will either join in his games or ignore his initial excitement. Thanks. We live just south of Devizes and are going to the Cotswolds so anywhere on route-ish is fine.

How about Lucy Pet Carer in Wootton Bassett? My dog has been going there for years for day care and the occassional overnight stay. They don't stay in their house but have purpose built facilities which are quite a step up from normal kennels.

I'd definitely recommend them and they do cater for dogs with specific requirements.

Yes! The family I stay with at Potterne, just outside Devises, when I go to Badminton, are dog sitters. Lt Col Hodges and his wife Sarah - fab couple - Please PM me if you want details. Their home is dog heaven!
