we are looking for somewhere in scotland, devon, cornwall, anywhere in Uk basically, for a family holiday. golfing for my dad and brother, and riding for me and mum. does anyone know somewhere to do this? with a decent hotel?

I've been there and it's fab! I really liked it. The stables are brilliant and right next to the hotel! I had one of my first proper jumping lessons there and went on some lovely hacks.
 
Hi, try looking at Looe or Polperro in Cornwall, its a really beautiful part of the country and has plenty of riding, and im sure there are golf courses around. Or Newquay may be a better place in Cornwall as there is a bit more to do in that area and the beach on a hot day is lovely, it's like being abroad!
we're going there in 2 weeks as we cant afford to go abroad this year (saving for our wedding!) and im really looking forward to going back.
The riding there is quite cheap, there is a big riding school in Newquay that takes you for a two hour hack along the beach for about £25.
