Holiday in Ireland

Going to a place called Easkey for my hols soon. Now with the Irish being such a horsey nation does anyone know of any horsey days out in this area please?

I was being nosey and Googled Easkey - there is horse riding on the website but doesn't mention anywhere near there.

Take your hat though - bound to be some riding around there!

I have been on holiday in Ireland... couldnt find anywhere within an hours drive to go riding....

That really surprises me. We're talking about a short break in Ireland - I shall plan it well!!!

there were places that did adults riding lessons on a thursday evening, ones that dont do riding lessons at all, or ones that just did ones for kids!

I went to Ireland for my honeymoon and we did pass a fair few places where you could go riding, they are just probably not on the internet. I don't personally know the area you are going to, but I hope you find something - and have a fab time

Did a quick Google search and found a place in Collooney, which is about 45 minutes away from Easkey. It's called "Markree Riding Stables"...

A bit further away but they do beach rides.

All I know about Easkey is the seaweed baths - you'll have to have one!
