I'm holidaying in cornwall next month and would like to book a beach ride or a scenic route ride. We're staying near Lands End then going up to Bude so anywhere along the north coast would be great.

Recommendations anyone?

By the way we're both experienced riders.

Google is your friend! That will bring up all the stables in Cornwall. I didn't get any replies on here when I asked the same question - you may be luckier though!

I went for a 2 hour ride on Bodmin Moor last year and it was fab, just me and the owner (September - out of season!). I can't remember the name of the stables but if you want it I'll try and track it down :)

Thanks - I'll google it

We had a bad experience booking rides recently - not in Cornwall - the horses lame and tack literally falling to pieces! :(

Any other commendations please?

This question has been asked on here - with replies - on numerous occasions. A quick look has brought up for me Newton Livery, Wheal Buller, Trenance, to name just three. I don't know anything about them, but just do a search on here.

Yes Moana. Before posting here I googled riding centres in Cornwall and have found lots in the right location. However, I'd like recommendations as they all look great but personal experience has taught me otherwise.

I used to go to Wheal Bullet every summer. Was years ago now but the hacking round there was great and the horses and ponies were fab!

I second the recommendation for Wheal Buller - they do beach rides/day rides/hacks.

The horses there are lovely - so much so that when I was on holiday there in June, I brought one home...:o

It's a bit far, but I can recommend Lower Tokenbury EC on Bodmin moor. I've hacked from there a few times and always had a good ride with lots of canters on big hunter-type horses.
