I've got a Barrie Swain semiflex sitting in my tack room. It was for a horse that is now retired who was tricky to fit a saddle to. He went very well in it. I've never tried a treeless though so I can't compare.

I have one which worked remedially on one horse (now sadly departed) and brilliantly on another horse too; I think I might have sold it now as it is going with the second horse to her new home :) I will be very sad to see it go as they are brilliant and really useful saddles but I will be very happy to think that our mare will be comfortable and familiar with the saddle in her new home. It was the only thing about selling her that I was a bit worried about (that the new home wouldn't find such a lovely saddle for her) but the new owner has had the saddle with the pony on trial and wants both. Happy days. :) My OH still maintains that we should keep the saddle here!! :)
