Anyone whose been to Holkham beach? if so when ( as in time of day) is best to ride on it? Do you have to ride when tide is out etc. All advise welcome!

Where abouts are you staying? I’ve stayed at Mill farm many times, we normally ride early in the morning or late evenings other wise the beach can be quite busy with walkers and kite flyers!!!

I strongly recommend that use Lady Anne’s drive to get to the beach as the other route is very stoney and as huge dykes either side of the track!!

It is amazing there!

But do be careful about the tides, It was only a couple of months ago that another group got stuck out there when the tide came in.

More people got cut off by the tide there this week!

I've taken my horse up there twice this year as not far from me and he loves it .... if you are driving there to park up be prepared for the price hike this year .... now £10 to park a lorry ... still worth it but on top of diesel it can be an expensive day out.

Have fun and be safe
