Does anyone know anything about "Holland" a DWB stallion? He is my Fly's sire. Also, can't find anything out about The "Watha" line (also DWB) and wondered if anyone on here could shed any light?

Also known as "FAN Holland" ridden at International Level by Eddie Macken.

"FAN Holland" first performed covering duty in the Netherlands for a number of years before changing over to Germany. His blood line is almost exclusively German and leads back via Voltaire, Marco Polo, Nimmerdor, Farn and Wagram, whilst the paternal blood line goes back to Furioso II. The successful international show jumper FAN Holland received great success at the Delbrück horse shows with several very good crops of foals.

In 2007 on the German Breeding Index, Holland is ranked in 7th place with 154 points

. He has produced several national and International showjumping horses and is also the sire of the recently deceased top International jumping stallion "Audi's Oklund", along with the International showjumper "Looping" and the Westfalian stallion "Harry Potter", to name only a few.

Forgot to add, we also have a cracking mare by Holland. Her name is Why Bella and we purchased her from the Nijhof Stud last year. Very sweet mare with a phenomenal jump........ She gave us a cracking Heartbreaker filly foal this year, which we are keeping, and is back in foal for next year. Comes from an excellent mother line.

Thanks so much, I am a real numpty when it comes to breeding and bloodlines! I have looked up Holland on the computer and it came up a stud in this country? I was a bit confused! Fly is the spitting image of his dad and he can certainly jump so I guess his attitude comes from his dam!!
