Hi,
As some of you may know Twiggy is rather nervous and I am thinking part of her nervousness is due to lack of Magnesium, our grass and soil (gravel) leaches it our pretty quick and she has been in season since I got her (10 days now) so I rekon her supplies are diminishing not helping her nervousness. I grazing muzzle her at night, then at 7 am she has it off til 2 pm when she comes in and deflates and I ride Dougal. She is fed am and pm with Dougal. I am thinking I may need to leave muzzle on all day every other day.
I wanted to feed her Mollichaff calmer as it is a complete feed and therefore I would not have to feed her a balancer. She looks much better now she is getting regular brushes but her coat could do with improving. My only worry is, is this feed suitable for Native types who get fat easily. Reading the specs it seems O.K, v similar to the Hoof kind one, but with a touch more oil that I guess would help her coat.
What do you think. I am feeding her at the mo a double handful of Hifi original and a weeny bit of beet (i mean a v small handful) to make it slightly more appetising.
