Holsteiners

A shot in the dark but am fed up of going round and round in circles trying to find some info - so a huge plea - Does anyone have or know of anyone who has a copy of The Holsteiner Stud Book for 1988. I know its a long time ago but I,m hoping there may be some dedicated breeder out there who has it. I have tried the National Stud in Germany but am banging my head against a brick wall there so this is pretty much a desperation plea in a final attempt to solve an intriguing mystery. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your replies - with regard to the intriguing mystery - I have recently bought a mare ex-jumper who I found in a local horse sale - she was sound but extremely underweight and was heading for an uncertain future at the grand age of 22! Anyway - she was passported with the FEI at 6 years old and given a name - but her passport showed an indistinct brand on her thigh. Well me being me have been digging like a mole and have found she is a pure bred Holsteier and is branded as such - but because I dont know her registered name I cant find out the vital information about her. Which is why I want to get hold of the stud book so can narrow it down and eventually find out who she is.
