Where does one find out about competitions in the home counties for 2010?

Thanks, have had a look at the riding diary but there seems very little on there... are there not many competitions? I am new to dressage so sorry for the stooopid questions!! lol

Depends whereabouts in the home counties you are looking.
However, I find the following website useful:

Not much listed there are the moment, but keep checking back as the riding clubs will add their events.

Also try Patchetts - www.patchetts.co.uk
They have unaffiliated dressage.

.. but looking for others to get out and about A LOT!

The RC websites I've looked at so far don't seem to have 2010 diaries up yet...

In herts, Chipperfield area but happy to travel about in Home Counties.

As in Chipperfield / Bovingdon area?

If so, then think Chalfont Heights Riding Club may be your best bet. They are on the Bucks / Herts boarder.

They are hosting a dressage event on 17th Jan - however, just checked & is in Slapton (Bucks) rather than their normal venue, Brawlings Farm.

They are quite a dressage focussed club & do hold regular comps at Brawlings Farm.

There is also Wing Dressage Group, they tend to meet near Tring and do unaff dressage through the summer and winter seasons. I have no idea what they are like, but the lady I spoke to (I think she is called Sally-Anne) was lovely.
