Decided to make some home made dog biscuits today. I'd popped into waitrose for some cereal and they had a load of cheese in the reduced/offer section. Thought I'd look and see if applesauce was on offer and it was! So picked up the cheeses and the applesauce, grabbed my cereal and went home.

Made up my mixture from a grubby piece of paper but the water addition was illegible. Added some extra, still a bit dry so added some more applesauce. Looked lovely and sticky.

Couldn't find my bone shaped cutter - disaster! But did manage to dig out a mouse shaped one. Suitably doggy. Made a grand total of 25 plus a blob. They've all just come out of the oven and look very tasty.

This particular recipe is people friendly too as it's mainly cheese and applesauce! Hopefully I won't be too tempted to eat them... I'm taking some with me to my lesson tomorrow for my trainer's yard manager's dog. My dog shall also be getting some as will one of the dogs belonging to nextdoor's groom. Hopefully all the doggies will enjoy them :D

Do any of you have any particular favourite dog biscuit recipes?

Read this and thought you were making human ones, imagining the lovely aroma of baking biscuits from your home.:)

They are people friendly! Very tasty, I did eat the weird blob ones made out of the last bit of mixture this morning!

All the doggies enjoyed them so paws up from them :)
