Home-made fly spray for sweet itch !

Hello everybody! I only just joined this morning and this is my first thread (mini round of applause). So, as title suggests, what are your most effect recipes for fly spray? In particular, those for horses with sweet itch ?!

isopropyl alcohol, tea tree oil, lavender oil, garlic and some citronella all mixed together. Absolutely stinks but works a treat.

Neem oil and benzyl benzoate (diluted to 10 %). I don't spray it, though. It's spread on with a soft brush, or applied by hands to delicate areas (udders).

I am very eager to make my own this year. After spending £18 a bottle for the deet stuff, ridiculous !
