Home made Fly spray?

Im on a yard thats right next to woodland, so there are ALOT of flies.
I've nearly finished the (shop bought) bottle I have. So need some more

I was wondering, do any of the home made fly spray recipes really work? And do you actually save money making it?

I make my own.i have never paid for shop fly spray.If you go into stable yard you should find a stickied thread on home made fly spray.

i make my own fly spray - citronella oil, white vinegar, cold tea and water

This one works really well

Fly Repellant Mix
15ml Citronella
2 Tbs Meths
1 Tbs Dishwashing Liquid
4 Tbs Vinegar
250ml strong Black tea
Add to 2 ltrs Water
Store in a Spray bottle

If you google it some good stuff comes up. I do not use home made stuff only because I found this stuff (name escapes me.... old age...LOL) and you make a 1:10 dilution and spray on once every 8 weeks and it is brilliant! It works but it is expensive. I will have a look at the name of it when I am up the yard tomorrow and post it for anyone who is interested....
