Quite urgent, as of monday I will be entirely unable to get to the yard in the mornings, currently have both horses there (I'm not going into details as to why). Dimples is coming HOME tonight, as yard payment is due tomorrow and yard owner is aware he was for sale anyway and is OK with this but we cannot afford the extra cost of 2 horses on livery + additional fees of them BOTH being seen to in the mornings.
Due to the fact that I'm currently in yr12, alone I wont be able to manage seeing to both horses and especially with dimples being here.

ILPH is going to be the first call we think, is it worth ringing the other charities if they say no?
Would the RDA be interested? A woman who was setting up a new branch or something was supposed to be viewing him today actually which sparked the thought. He's not suitable for riding really but is good on the leadrein.

Really, really don't want to know and can't stand the thought of him going to a dealer. The only thing keeping me chilled at the minute is the fact I WILL get this pony a good home, he's been with me for 7 years now and taught me a hell of a lot.

Equine charities often don't have places at the moment for horses unless they are also welfare cases. Obvisouly you don't want dimples to get to that stage!

Try local riding schools. Pony Club - see if someone wants him on loan for a bit. Also possibly web sites like project horse.

Binky - not really tried RSs/PC as he isn't what you'd deem a 'riding pony' (off lead rein he's a twit) but may be worth a try!! Companion home would be ideal otherwise....

I don't seem able to recieve a verification code from Projecthorses (at least, none has come through yet and I have checked the spelling & asked for it again...) has anyone else had this issue?

Now browsing 'companion wanted' ads.... good fun :/
