Homecheck for Sid on Sunday

I was sooo hungover, fair play to the guy - he rang me about 30 mins before and I was like "Uhm, my house isnt very tidy, I went out for a few drinks last night" he just laughed and told me he wasn't there to judge the house.

Good thing to because Roly yacked up a load of grass on the carpet lol

By the time he arrived I was enjoying the second phase of hangover central and quivering like a drug addict lol he still stayed for a nice long chat and had a lovely cwtch with Roly and Lil, so really positive, just feels nice to actually get this far with a rescue.

At least I know even if Sid isnt the one, I might be in line for another dog from them when the time comes.
 
LOL perfect timing Roly. When I do homechecks I would be very suspicious if a house was too tidy, would wonder if they would be prepared for a dog in it.:D
 
Bloody big stain on my carpet too, I was like *faff faff tidy, spray air freshner* what is that? Its spew!!

John has emailed me asking me to ring him, but I cant til tonight as Im in work :( argh!!!
 
Well, its all balanced now on whether he likes Roly and Lil and if they like him. I am 100% focussed that however much I want a GSD, my first priorities are my current dogs. If they are happy, I'm happy, if they aren't I'll have to rejig my plans and look at a pup (which I didnt want originally but will give them all a chance to get on from the start and I can have a pivotal part in shaping the pup into the dog I want)

But I have everything crossed he'll love them and they'll like him and everything will be dandy :D
 
Fantastic news! I am so pleased for you :D I hop your tiny terrors (:p) get on well with Sid and he can come and live with you! (Even though gundogs are better than GSDs :p :D)

I am just trying to co-ordinate the misson to go see and hop[efully bring him home now. My micra will not make it, so trying to rope in my ex (and his Honda estate more importantly lol) to come with :D

I've got 3 JRTs, am having a 4th next year, should have been June/July but OH's sister's dog was petrified of Mouse and wouldn't perform and I'd not found a back up plan so had to leave it until she comes into season again in January.

Have 2 Wire Vizzies but as OH and I are in a flat I only brought the terriers with me, plus mum didn't really want to let the Vizzies go as although technically they're mine they're more mum's - I know what I mean lol!!

We're moving into a terrace house in a fortnight or so so we'll see where we are at the end of next year - don't want two puppies together!! Been there done that, plus we work so don't want to overload ourselves.

Kitsune - well done on passing :D Have you got him yet?
