Has anyone ever made on themselves for the garden to go on the lawn? My garden is secure but pup could get himself into trouble with all the plants and borders so want to keep him contained on the lawn if i have to leave him unattended. The ones to buy appear to be quite expensive around £2-300 but my dad has suggested he could make something (very good at that sort of thing usually) at a fraction of the cost but i am unsure as to what materials to use.

Anyone made one themselves and what did you make it with? Any pics of your creations would be great.

I made a puppy run with just a couple of rolls of cage wire and a wood frame, I joined the frames with the metal screw on plates and stapled the wire to the frame, you can attach to a wall or fence to secure it or use small fence posts to anchor it into the ground, all from Do It All, cost under £50 for a 12 x 6ft run. If you coat the wood with fence paint it will last for years. Also put a cheap gazebo over it to shade out the sun, and an upside down box or a covered crate for puppy to rest if he is to spend time out side.

That sounds exactly what i had in mind. It would go partly under a huge tree so plenty of natural shade and i have a kennel i could use. A pic would be great but glad to know someone else has DIY'd it.
