Homemade Fillers!

Thick plywood, someone who's good at DIY so can make some 'feet' for the fillers to slot in to and some bright gloss paint :)

If you excuse the 'unique' jumping technique here, this is one I made a few years back! :)

Buy some plastic table clothes (a la children's party) and hang those over the pole.
Really cheap and you can get many patterns. If you need to weigh them down to stop them flapping, pop a pole on the bottom :)

I cut a large pallet in half, treated it with wood preserver & fixed on a couple of 3" x2" pieces of timber as feet to keep it stable. The council were resurfacing some roads near us & after compteting the job they didn't bother collecting the various 'No Road Markings' signs etc from the side of the road, so I kind of rescued them ;) I nailed them onto the fillers with galvanised nails & now 3 years later they still look good & they cost me nothing to make. :)
