homemade fly spray !!

i asked a while ago but got given some from one of the girls on the yard,i dont want to ask her again and now i cant find the post i wrote !!!
so could anyone tell me what you use again and measurements !

i slap in cold tea, malt vinegar, and citronella seems to work well

1.5 litres of cold stewed tea,
500ml of cheap malt vinegar,
10ml of citronella,

Put in a 2ltr washed out coke bottle and then into spray bottle as and when.

thank you,how long do i leave the cold tea to stew before i add the rest and use ?

I usually leave it over night.Then chuck it altogether in the morning.

Better add if you do what i do and chuck it in a coke bottle either take the label off or write on it as my hubby found out when he went to have a swig of *coke*.

fab thats it then,the tea is stewing ive got the vinegar ready and will pop up chemist first thing for the citronella then start attacking him with it asap !!!!

lol yeh i will take the label off so nobody drinks it !!

For those who use malt vinegar and tea in their recipes, does it stain white coats? I'm a bit wary of turning my Piebald into a Brownbald....

weve got 3 coloureds on our yard and they all use it and it hasnt stained them at all

i just havnt seen anyone to ask how to make it and now ive ran out im doing it myself !

I have a grey and a coloured.I always put the spray bottle on mist so it dosent soak them and leave them brown.

silly question now as ive already made the tea but how many tea bags do you put in as im sat here panicing now thinking my horse is gona look like a cup of tea !!!!!! lol

Sorry for the delay.I put 7 tea bags in a 1.5 litre jug.
