homemade jumps and where to buy poles

hiya has anyone got any photos of homemade jumps to give me ideas and where is the best to buy some wooden jump poles from, i have some tyres so going to use those but really struggling for poles without paying thro the roof thanks

I'm lucky as my hubby does this as a hobby making jumps not just for me,but others too.
Best place to get poles is a timber merchants if you want cheap ones.

i get my poles from molevalley farmers and then just paint them so there a bit more scary . and wings i use something like 4x2 upright and drill holes in all the way up and then put some feet on

I get poles from our local timber yard, they're usually pretty reasonable!
In terms of jumps stands, I use tyres (if you go to garages they'll usually give them to you for free!), straw bales, barrels, and my dad kindly made me some lovely posh jump stands (but iv only got 2 pairs!) Cones are good too, as long as they're big ones you can put the poles on the tops! Haven't got any piccies tho
