Hi guys, I have to use m and t conditioner on my boys tail as its mahoosive! I get comments about it everywhere I go! So I have to keep it in tip top shape and to help me get a brush through it I use m and t conditioer made by canter and its fantastic! The only downside is its £8.10 per bottle! Argh! Anyhoo, I have found a recipe to make it at home and they say use equal parts of white vinegar, conditioner (you use yourself) and water? I woulcd just like to know if anyone had tried this out before I go ahead and try it?
Ps, we did prelim one today and got 66 % the best we have ever got in a prelim, so I am a happy and very proud of my just 5yo.
Thanks for reading

I'm guessing the word cobditioner in the title's a mistake? It's rather a good pun, it could be a product specially for making cobs shiney and sleek! :D

I've read good things about using coconut oil on the mane and tail for a period, allowing it to get really gloopy with it over time, but by the end of that time period the mane and tail are amazing. Might be worth Googling, I believe that the best place to get pure coconut oil is from Afro hair product suppliers.

I use a mixture of
1 cup baby oil
1/2 cup conditioner
and the rest is water works a treat specially when i use tea tree conditioner that is a £1 from tescos.

agree that Avon Skin so Soft is brill for many things - but beware in Winter, as it freezes. Mine froze and then defrosted into lumpy gunk after a few nights at the yard.

My Avon Skin So Soft went into a hard lump as well! I buy NAF silky mane and tail D-tangler, I know it's not home made but they have 50% extra free at the moment.
