The best one for horse's is The Treatment of Horses with Homeopathy by George Macleod its about £12 now for new edition or last edition was £9ish & is just as good if not easier to follow! The beauty with Homeopathics is that you can't give to much ie it wont do any harm. I specilizng in selling it for horses & making up combination remedies so if you have any questions just PM me! I do sell this book too but look on Amazon you may find it cheaper!
There is also the smaller Pinkus book called Yard & stable but is nowhere near as good as Macleod & is only a 5ver!

Thanks for replying. Do you have a website or a catalogue etc.? I will def get the book.
My boy had a mild bout of spasmodic colic this morning, and whilst waiting for the vet i gave him Nux Vom- i think it did the trick, by the time the vet arrived he was much comfier.

We do have a website but only have the first page up at the mo with our contact details. Will send you our info pack if you PM me your details. Yes Nux vom was right but I would also give Aconite for stress & shock (also help relax gut) Colchicum which is anti inflammatory, China for dehydration.
Arnica for any pain. This is one we have as a mixture so you are just giving the one squirt rather than loads of different ones. We do then in liquid or tablets or creams for external application. But the sprays are the quickest & easiest to give.

P.S. for got to say in a case like that I would give it every 5min till the vet arrives. Did this for a friends horse that had colic & by the time the vet arrived he was like "why did you call me out?" But always call the vet if suspected colic as it can turn so very nasty.
