does anyone here use it for their horses or have tried it on humans. Just interested in peoples thoughts.
I use it a lot on my children and myself and sometimes on my horse. Do you and if not why???
 
i use them for massage, not sure if they do anything but i enjoy the smell spesh patchouli if thats how u spell it
i've heard a lot of good things from others about it, on themselves and others. 1 of my old bosses was very much into natural remedies, honey on proud flesh works amazing. and we treated a horse with really bad sweet itch with tea tree oil, citronalla and a few other things, it worked very well. so i'm open to the idea of using it on animals, if conventional treatment didn't work.

homeopathy is things like arnica for bruising and shock and sulphur for sweetich and stuff like that. Apis for bee stings as well
 
I know alot of people that have used it on horses for sweetitch, mudfever, colic, mudfever, cuts, wounds, diseases, calming ect...
Also Grace Muir of North Farm Stud swears it saved one of her foals lives that was suffering from Lawsonia that the vets couldn't do anything else for so had given up, it went from deaths door to being out in the paddock after 3 days only using a homoeopatic remedy.
The results speak for themselves & the fact that people keep going back & buying it it must work. You dont keep buying something if it doesn't work!??? Plus the fact the animal doesn't know why it is being given the remedy so can't say that it "thinks" itself better!!
 
Hmm i am just guaging how many people roll their eyes every time i mention homeopathy. I dont want to start a war but i do think all these vaccinations etc cause a lot of health problems these days and with things like recurring colic, sweetich etc could be so easily helped with a little pillule.

Ok TT, cup of tea and Fox's Ginger Crunch I think.
I use Arnica, Apis Mel, Sulphur and some other stuff my homeopathist gives me for 'grieving' horses (long story). Have had some success with it, but for personal use not too good being a smoker. Im told that any strong tasting/smelling treats counteract the effects. I do use natural remedies from the Health Food Shop on the horses with great success though. x
 
I'm a great believer in Homeopathy and also use Arnica for bruising and Tea tree as an antiseptic, there are some really good websites on it. You can treat a huge amount of things with various remedies for humans and pets.
The rolling the eyes brigade need to open their minds a tad as these things do work!

I use some, arnica is good stuff!
 
I didn't think i was a beleiver, but desperate times call for desperate measures!

My boy has had problems with spasmodic colic, which the vets haven't really been able to help with. I got in touch with Helious homeopathy, and they sent me Collicynthis, nux vom, aconite and carbo veg. I give these as soon a see any symptoms, and the past couple of times he has had a bout, i have not needed to calll vet, as he's been fine within 30 mins.

They certainly seem to work on him.
 
if it didn't work vets and doctors wouldn't bother to train in it and work with it. In conjuction with a vet I treated a horse with 33 sarcoids and we managed to get rid of them.

I also used to on my mare who had nerve damage from lead poisioning resulting in numbness in the back and muscle wastage. The nerves repaired all her muscle returned, she was 19 at the time and still has a back from better than many 12 year olds I see.

Also used it on a mare who had a salmonella infection in her uterus, it cleared that up as well.
 
I use them on horses, dog, me and my family.

If the correct remedy is administered it works.

It is amazing how many people I know who "poohoo" alternative medicine until they are desperate and the Doctors/Vets can't help them anymore.
