Great news, so glad things have worked out that you will be able to bring Henry home afterall.
What is it with the word chain!
Its a running line, full access to the garden just stopping him from actually attacking anything or running away. theres no point having a dog to guard if its locked up in a kennel. He'll be kept in a more than adequate environment. im home all day so he wont be starved of attention. just needs to look and sound scary to anyone he doesnt know on command.
i dont like GSDs because i was attacked by one when i was younger, but i give all dogs a chance, never one to hold back on a cuddle
i will say though, 90% of the people i know with guard dogs on their property are ex or failed police dogs.
