Girl at the yard whose lorry is broken, so I took her to two comps last week while off work. Her lorry still not fixed, but she wants to take two of her 14.2's today to the jumping, my 3.5 tonner will be overweight so I said no. Left it at tea time yesterday that she was borrowing a friends box, then got texts later to get a nother girls no to use their trailer. Did'nt hear anything else.

I was working behind the bar till 12.45am this morning, knackered, went down the yard 9.30 to do May (she's already been fed and hayed), said girl turns up wanting to load and go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not arranged anything else, so will just take one pony!

I planned to leisurely do my jobs, come home, brekkie, get ready to go and load May to take her at 12.30

Think its a bit cheekly to just expect to turn up and expect me just to take her! It also means I have to leave her there in her last class, come and get May, then her mum drives her pony home later!!!!! And muggins here gets to clean the box out!

Anyway, have got her doing my jobs while I came home to get my SJ clothes and have brekkie!

She obviously thinks that you are her mother! Therefore it is expected that you should take her. She needs to learn that she can't have those sort of expectations in the real world.

Cheeky!!Would have told her sorry but no!!Everyone I have ever given a lift to have cleaned out lorry!Haven't asked them they do it out of manners for me giving lift.Def make her clean lorry out!
 
Yeh this is the problem with doing something once - you get taken for granted this used to happen to us at our old yard but this yard we normally go in convoy when going to shpows and if one of us has an empty space in lorry we fill it to save someone else taking a trailer and I make sure that whoever has been travelling with us helps to clean the lorry
 
I too would have said no. Having been years without transport I was always so grateful whenever anyone offered me a lift. I would never have expected it though and would have felt awful if I thought it was putting them out too - hope you have a good day but you must be knackered!

When it came to loading, she changed her mind and took her other pony/14.2, he was naughty in the class and she got eliminated, cue rush back to the yard with him and pick up her other pony and drive back............................

Left her after she had done her first class on 2nd pony and went back to the yard, yet again, for May!

What a nightmare! Wish I had just stayed in bed today too, cos May was naughty and had a stop at fence 8

Very naughty, we had jumped round it as a clear round, same height and she had stopped, so was prepared this time. Came round spot on to every fence, used leg and voice and she still stopped - first part of a double, the first part of it was tiny too! Turned her straight round and she popped it, then finished the course no problem! Lil madam, don't know why she did it.

Oh, and I will have to muck the box out tomm, tis a right mess now!!!!!!!!!
 
Bloody get the girl to do it! Polite but firm.. "i've left the lorry for you to clean out" should do it.

If she doesn't like it she wont come again!

Can't beleive you went back for the other pony!!!

Lol, yes! Hopefully her box will be back on the road for next weekend, cos mine is staying parked up while I have a weekend off!!!

Jesus, cheeky or what!!

I don't have my own transport and have to rely on other people to take me places and I really hate asking, that's probably why I never go anywhere!
If I am lucky enough to be offered a lift I always clean the lorry out and give diesel money and buy them cups of tea etc as well as thanking them millions of times lol!

When my pony gets sold I am buying a lorry with my friend, we are going 50/50 on a nice 2 or 3 horse with living

but because I know what its like I will more than likely give lifts to people, until someone takes the piss of course
