Honesty required!

im lucky with my shifts. Puppy is no more than 4 hours by himself on any one day and this would be if I'm away riding and OH is golfing.
I work nights so OH is there, I'm sleeping on days and I leave for work at 5pm and OH is home no later than 7pm.
There was the day we left at 4.30am and OHs mum walked him for us. We were home by 5pm. - This was a rarity and was for a funeral down south!

Korben is left about 3/4 hours a day - OH is out the house from 8.30 to 3pm but my mum goes over and lets him out for a pee and amuses him for a while before OH comes home - if we leave him any longer than that we get holes in our walls and the linoleum goes missing :D

Thanks everyone, very interesting and useful replies. Met the girls today and their lack of excercise shows. At present they don't get walked every day and are left nine hours mon to fri. I hope the owner is happy with us and we will be happy to have them. If things all work out I will soon own two beautiful funny springer spaniel girlies.

Hope you get them! Our cocker is fine in the day (neighbours confirm) in his run but gets a good walk every day and on yard with us in the mornings

We used to leave our dogs from 8 in the morning to 6 at night. Both dogs came to us in poor circumstances and would have been put into rescue if we did not keep them. Quite often if I came home at lunchtime I would sneak a peek at them and they would be snoring away. Our neighbours confirmd that they never heard a sound from them.

We have three labs now and I am at home all the time, they sleep the day through too with the odd glare at me if the hoover comes out, lol.
