hoof advice?

Hello Everyone, its my first time here so I thought i would start off with a question of opinions!

I have a very good farrier who doesnt put shoes on a horse unless the horse actually needs it.

However I have absolutely no idea on all the various methods of 'barefoot trimming' specialist people. All I have heard is that the foot gets scared.

Could I get peoples opinions and views and some insight into all the various different methods? I heard you are a nice bunch of people which made me ask!

Lol, what a funny thing to say. I am not going to enter this discussion, it will possibly get very heated, just wanted to say Welcome, I look forward to your posts
