10. Do you think your horses feet are correctly balanced?

Yes

11. Do you discuss your horses hoof balance with your farrier?

Yes I did when I had one and his failure to address the huge imbalance in one of my horses' front feet was what pushed me to go barefoot.

12. Have you / your farrier used corrective shoeing methods in order to
correct hoof balance?

Yes, with previous horses

13. Do you think that corrective shoeing methods are beneficial?

Yes but the same can usually be achieved much more effectively with barefoot and there are instances where a "perfect" balance in shoes does not actually suit what the horse needs and can make it lame. Such horses can sometimes have wierd looking feet barefoot and be sound because that's the foot they need to suit a less than perfect body.

Thank you for completing my questionnaire.

Had problems with my horse that the vets couldn't get to the bottom of and after £6k in vet bills and still no better I looked into hoof balance and looked at my boys feet. Even I could see how unbalanced they were. Changed farriers and got his feet rebalanced over a few shoeings and a craniosacral treatment and my horse no longer has any lameness or sore. :)
