At a trade stall at badminton this year i saw a product for hooves.
Similar to vet wrap.

I think you soak it in water, apply to the hoof then is goes very hard.

Whats it called and where can i get some!

Its called Equicast.

Fab stuff. You dont need water unless youre trying to use it in the middle of the sahara. You can use it to hold a shoe on, or to protect the hoof if youve lost a shoe. Your farrier can alos put it on and then shoe to it if your horse has foot problems.

It sets like concrete in under 5 minutes. Costs about £15 a roll. Ive just used 2 rolls on my boy. 1 roll to hold his shoe on and then another roll put on by the farrier to remake his hoof wall so he could be reshod.
